Grace M. (Koch) Stauffer, 96, wife of the late Kenneth S. Stauffer, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Frederick Living.
Born in North Coventry, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Ella (Miller) Koch.
Grace took great pride in caring for her family and home, always keeping a tidy house and making sure those around her were cared for. She showed her love in simple, meaningful ways through cooking, baking, and creating a welcoming home for family and friends. She especially enjoyed playing cards with lifelong friends and family, regular bingo outings, and the annual trips to the cabin in Canada with her brothers and sisters. More than anything, Grace loved watching her family grow through the generations. Seeing her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren brought her endless happiness and pride. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her caring nature, and the many traditions and memories she helped create throughout her life.
Surviving is her daughter Susan Levengood, wife of the late James E. Levengood; son Ricky Stauffer, husband of Becky; sister Jeanette Yoder, wife of the late Martin Yoder; brother Gerald “Sonny” Koch; grandchildren Tracy Davidheiser, Bridget Finelli, Jennifer Ebersole, Erin Huver, and Timothy Stauffer; 13 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother Lester Koch; sister Virginia Hoffman; and brother Willard Koch.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave, Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Pastor Eugene Zaiser officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. A viewing will also be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 9:30AM-11:00AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (1809 Hoffmansville Rd, Sassamansville, PA 19472) in Grace’s name.
