Janet Lucille (Rothenberger, Brile) Brower, beloved mother and grandmother, went home to the Lord in the early morning of June 9th, 2026, at Frederick Living.
Born in Gilbertsville, she was the daughter of the late George Rothenberger and Loretta (Leh) Rothenberger.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Robert Brile, son Barry Brile, brother George Rothenberger, sister Gloria (Rothenberger) Steltz, second husband George Brower Sr., and many friends.
Janet is survived by her son Robbie Brile, daughter-in-law, Renee Brile, granddaughter, Jennifer Brile and family, brother David Rothenberger, as well as many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
Janet found joy in caring for others throughout her life. She had a quiet strength, a bright, loving, and beautiful smile, and a great sense of humor. In her younger days, Janet worked at a soda and ice cream shop, enjoyed going dancing with her friends, and hosting family gatherings at her pool in Earlville. Later in life, she enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winter, and attending church. She loved spending time with her son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and family dog, Charlie the Corgi. She was a truly wonderful mother, nana, and friend.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
