Stephen J. Wert, 67, of Pottstown, husband of Terri M. (Grebe) Wert, passed away Monday August 17, 2026 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Rev. James A. Wert and Gene (Keller) Wert.
Stephen was an avid sports fan, especially of the Phillies, Eagles, and Bills. He had a passion for old TV shows and American History.
Surviving along with his wife is his daughter Sarah Wert; sister Kathleen W. Hill; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother David L. Wert.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
