Damien Myles Haas, 30, of Blandon, husband of Emily Rose (Majewski) Haas, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, at Einstein Montgomery Hospital.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Marvin R. Haas, Jr. and Shelley Diane (Ruhl) Haas.
More than anything, Damien loved his family. He absolutely loved being a girl dad and adored his daughter, Isabella. He was beyond excited to find out that the baby on the way was another little girl and could not wait to welcome her into the family. Damien was fiercely protective of those he loved and would do anything for them.
Damien never knew a stranger; everyone he met quickly became a friend. He was everyone's personal handyman, muscle, and support, always willing to lend a hand when something needed to be fixed, built, or moved—usually with one of his beloved Milwaukee tools. He was also a devoted Phillies fan and loved both watching the Phillies and going to games with his family. His love for the Phillies will live on through his daughter.
Damien will be remembered most for the love he had for his family, his willingness to always show up for others, and his ability to make a friend wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Surviving along with his wife and parents is his grammy, Patricia Ruhl; his daughter, Isabella Haas, along with another daughter on the way; sisters Rylee Haas and Alexis Botero, wife of John; nieces and nephew Kinsley, Charlee, and Riven; and sisters he didn’t ask for but loved as his own, Nicole, Melissa, and Megan as well as niece and nephew, Ella and Evan.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00–11:30 AM at the funeral home.
