John Thomas Cotellese, 67, of Boyertown, husband of Phyllis (Davidheiser) Cotellese for 42 years, passed away Friday August 7, 2026 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Antonio C. and Mary (Harmonski) Cotellese.
Surviving along with his wife is his son Matthew Cotellese husband of Noelle (Schieler); daughter Amanda Belton wife of Edward; grandchildren Brayden and Reed Cotellese, and Paisley Belton; siblings Antonio Cotellese husband of Diana, Joseph Cotellese husband of Doreen, Stephanie Cotellese Lukens wife of Jon; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Rocco Cotellese husband of Lynn.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday September 26, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the American Legion, 100 Walker Dr., Boyertown, PA 19512. Please join us as we celebrate the life of John. We know he would have wanted to have his family and friends together, laughing and enjoying each other’s company.
