Linda Marie (Christopher) Sotzing, 72 of Spring Valley Farms in Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA, died on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Reading Hospital of natural causes. She had suffered many months with failing organs and diabetes. She lived a full life, rich with music and art, had wonderful relatives, and many friends. She was always asking questions. She was a cherished mother, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Linda was born in Easton to Patricia (Butler) Christopher and Paul L. Christopher. She attended Easton Area School District and graduated in 1973.
The marriage to John R. Sotzing in 1997 was full of love and joy. They enjoyed their time together, especially in recent years. Linda and John lived in Bethlehem, PA and The Villages, FL. She was a cosmetologist, and retired with John to Florida where she liked water aerobics and one-stroke painting. In 2019 they returned to Pennsylvania and again befriended many. Linda had a way with people.
In addition to John, she is survived by her daughters, Jessica M. Grube and Heather K. Stauffer, both who she adored. She is also survived by two step-daughters, Jennifer Reno and Andrea Sotzing. Linda has two brothers and a sister surviving her, Paul J. Christopher (Jeanne) and Charles Christopher, and Barb (Charles) Brinker. Her parents and a sister Harriet preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
