Dennis Eugene Spohn, 64, of Boyertown, passed away on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at Reading Hospital after a 2-year fight with cancer. He was surrounded by his family.
Dennis was born on September 28th, 1962 to the late Floyd and Mary (Johnson) Spohn. He was raised in New Berlinville and was a 1980 graduate of Boyertown High School. He was a long-time employee of Brown Printing until they closed. He then worked for Johnstone Supply until his cancer diagnosis. Dennis was a loving husband and father of 3. He loved spending time with his family and watching the Eagles games together. He was an avid NASCAR fan and was always rooting for the Phillies. He also was very handy and was always wood working and tinkering with things. He could always be caught listening to Shinedown and other music he enjoyed. He will always be remembered for his jokester personality.
He is survived by: a wife of 37 years, Marjorie Spohn; 3 daughters, Amy Spohn, Rachael Davison (wife of Ethan), and Amanda Spohn (fiancé of Freddie); a sister, Donna Spohn; a granddaughter Natalie; and a grandson Noah.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 12:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown. A viewing will also be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 10:30AM-12:00PM at the funeral home.
