William “Bill” Ralph Neiman, 83

William “Bill” R. Neiman, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 5, 2026 surrounded by love, angels and family. He has left this earthly world to be with our heavenly Father. Born in Pottstown, PA on March 16, 1943, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mildren Shellenberger Neiman.

Bill was a best friend, devoted, hard-working husband and brother and above all was the love of his wife Sue’s life. He proudly served our country in the US Navy for eight years and was on U.S. Skagit and the waters of Vietnam. He retired from Asplundh Tree Company after 36 years.

Mr. Neiman loved family pets, the outdoors, nature and wildlife, home projects and fixing cars. He could do anything he tried. His family and friends were most important to him and he cherished them deeply. Bill was a most generous, loving and caring person and was always happy and smiling. He was willing to help anyone he met. Everything he did, he did with thoughtfulness, kindness and care and his unwavering support will be cherished and missed.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sue Neiman; brother, Terry Neiman (Linda); sister, Tamey Baradgie (Joe); one niece; three nephews; several cousins; and an aunt, Doris Cochrac.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Pastor Rick Clark officiating. The family will also have a service on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Catagnus Funeral Home in Pottstown, PA. The visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:00 PM with a celebration of life service following at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill’s memory can be made to the veteran or pet charity of your choice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville, VA and Catagnus Funeral Home in Pottstown, PA are serving the family.
