Mary A. (Maggio) Fineran, 90, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph William Fineran, Sr.
Born in Norristown, Mary was the daughter of the late William and Lillian Maggio. A devout Catholic, she lived her faith with devotion throughout her life. She found joy in painting, traveling, and gardening, and she brought beauty to the world around her.
Mary is survived by her loving children: Mary Ann Bennett and her husband George; Joseph William Fineran, Jr. and his wife Darlene; John Fineran and his wife Karen; Margaret E. Fineran-Ryan and her husband Robert Ryan; and Elizabeth Ann Greco and her husband Richard. She was the cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Roselee McKay, and her brother, William Maggio.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Columbkill Church, 200 Indian Spring Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, prior to the Mass. Burial will be private.
