Elisabeth Millard, 91

Elisabeth Millard, 91, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026, at the St. Luke’s Brian D. Perin Hospice House, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Born on January 28, 1935, in Ingolstadt, Germany, Elisabeth lived a life filled with kindness, love, and an unwavering dedication to her family.

Elisabeth, “Elsie” came to the United States in the late 50’s and became a citizen of the US in the 60’s to raise her family. She was a homemaker for many years, then held different jobs, before retiring from Cherrydale Farms. Once retired, Elsie enjoyed gardening, reading, and knitting. Shopping and dining out with friends was another enjoyment to Elisabeth. But for those who really knew Elsie, spending time with her family was everything to her which was evident since she would travel between PA and NC so she could have family time with Rose, Alan, and grandchildren and then come home to her PA family.

Elisabeth was a loving mother to her daughter Rose, wife to Alan, and her son Kenny, husband to Angie. Oma adored her grandchildren Alan Edward husband to Jeanette, Elisabeth, wife to Justin, Andrew, husband to Jordan, Alex, husband to Catherine, and Kyle, husband to Miranda. Elisabeth was also a proud great- grandmother to Eden, Calloway, Jolene and Kamryn.

In this time of loss, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Luke’s Brian D. Perin Hospice House for their exceptional care and support of Elsie in her final days. Their compassion and dedication provided so much comfort to Elisabeth and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Boyertown Friends Helping Friends, PO Box 36, Boyertown, PA, 19512. This organization provides support in many ways to local families in their time of need.

Services for Elisabeth will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at Catagnus Funeral Home, 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 am.

Elisabeth’s life was filled with love, kindness, friends, and family. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who shared in her journey here on earth. May her soul rest in peace. We love you forever Mom, Grandma, and Oma!

Add My Condolences

I was so fortunate to have known Elsie. I saw her grandsons from Kenny grow and become men. We talked about Germany after my trip to Oberammergau. Be at peace in His arms, Oma
